Division of Communications & Community Relations
The mission of the Division of Communications and Community Relations is to proactively and accurately convey information, achievements, and outcomes that support student achievement in the DeKalb County School District (DCSD).
The Communications team is responsible for maintaining accurate, effective, two-way communication for the district with internal and external stakeholders. We do this through Broadcast Services, Communications & Marketing, Community Relations and Media Relations.
We pride ourselves in being the best in edutainment. Our goal is to educate, empower, and entertain our viewers.
We develop and execute strategies to enhance the brand and reputation of DCSD through proactive and reactive messaging, marketing campaigns, and creative services.

We create and maintain graphic content, designs and collateral that support the DCSD brand.

Unites the employee team through regular updates to operations
We write and disseminate a quarterly publication with long-form, in-depth features about achievement. Check out the latest issue.

We maintain all social media sites for the District on major networks – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube.
